Fairly new here but I imagine this is a common theme.

What is people's issue with this guy?

I never read his tutorials or anything like that, his photography isn't anything special, but his site is simply a handy repository of most lenses and bodies ever made. If I need to look up a lens I might need to hire for a shoot, or am thinking about a new purchase, it's an easy reference guide.

Is it, as I suspect, that people are jealous that a spectacularly average photographer has managed to make so much money of making a reference website for photography gear?
