No no no get a ilc you'll regret being limit to one focal length. Get the new x-e3 it's pretty much the exact same camera but with slightly smaller, 4k, bluetooth, interchangeable lens but evf instead of an ovf. If you really want an optical rangefinder save up a bit more and get an x-pro 2.

Because pretty much any other interchangable mirrorless makes more sense.

The x100f has terrible af speed, a shit sensor, gimmicky film simulation modes, and a taco-shits soft lens.

For the same price you can get an a7ii and 35mm lens, which is fullframe, with ibis, the versatility of a ff ilc, doesn't use shitty x-trans, has proper custom dials in non retarded positions, is compatible with adobe and doesn't look like a dadtographers pride and joy.

You could be shooting film instead and have a much more rewarding experience.

I used to own one and sold it, got an Olympus infinity stylus jr for 15 dollars and it is a million times more fun to shoot and far more interesting. A yashica would be even better if you've got money to spend.

If you like manual focus and don't mind an slr, you can and will have more fun with a Pentax k1000.
