When people say "learn to shoot on a 50mm", do they mean 50mm full-frame equivalent, or 50mm on a crop sensor apsc (80mm equivalent)

I learned to shoot 50mm on a 35mm film camera. Now I shoot 25mm almost exclusively on a M43.

so it's 50mm equiv on a fool frame desu, and multiply the aperture also by 2 to know what will be on a fool frame. ex. 25mm f/1.7 is around f/3.4 - 3.5
