The pentax strap on my fm2 has rustled some jimmies as well. I personally don't care about the branding, its just want I find comfy. I'll end up buying one of those Custom SLR ones that feel like a seatbelt.

Id say my keep rate is around 70% but I take far less photos than I used to. Softness was really only an issue when I was learning the limitations of the lenses but I have used them so long now that I know what shots are going to work. Also sharpness is grotesquely overrated, id much rather have a bit of character to my lenses than 100% optically correct blandness.

I use an old canon point and shoot thin wrist strap for my fm2 and dslrs. It's alot comfy compared to the default thick dslr neck straps.

I mostly take one of these out, the golden one is a Ricoh R1 and under the G1 is a Leica II. Missing is the 7artisans 50mm 1.1 and the Voigtlander 15mm F4.5 which are lent to my gf,
