An old man offeted to sell me this camera, since he overheard me talking about photography and shit, says he got it as a gift 3-4 years ago.On the box it says Sony Deluxe Camera Kit 7000, 35mm.Can anyone provide info on this?Sorry for shitty quality.

It's a chinese plastic fake designed to look impressive and expensive - down to metal weights glued inside the mostly empty body. It takes photos and works so the scammers can't be sued, but it's in all respects worse than any basic 90ies point&shoot-way worse. It's built to trick people who dont know anything about photography into paying a lot of money.

It's a crappy fixed-focus Chinese point-and-shoot camera disguised as an expensive SLR. Given that you can get a much smaller and higher quality point-and-shoot for the price of a McDonalds meal, and a good actual SLR for under $50, it's completely useless.

im an indian and i dont think its true, for an average photographer in india yearly salary is like 8-12k usd and indians care very less about aesthetics or vintage stuff, we always try to get best bang for the buck shit.

The viewfinder is on the side. What is on the front of the fake prism I don't know; probably a leftover of the more """advanced""" version of this shit where the viewfinder was indeed there.

This is not pure chinkery. When color film became widely available, people discovered that many old lenses had color casts and chromatic aberration that didn't show up on B&W film before; thus some manufacturers started marking their lenses as "color", e.g. Color-Skopar.
