Both are "bulletproof" and highly water/moisture resistant. I've had a Pelican case fall into the sea and had to hire a boat to retrieve it and nothing got wet.
If at all possible, stay away from cheap chinese shit because it has no warranty and will fail.
For soft carry cases, I'd recommend a messenger sling bag that doesn't scream "CAMERA HERE! COME STEAL ME!". Being discreet when you're carrying thousands of $$$ worth of gear is important. For those, you can pick up a nice chinkshit one for $20.
