Except it's not the cheapest and it isn't like there is a massive price disparity between an M5 and M2/M3, they are still fairly expensive for film cameras.

Plus the M5 has some of the best features ever put on a M mount Leica whilst also being different from the rest and absolutely stunning.

I mean you still need batteries for metering, you just have to go through the trouble of finding and paying for one so you can use the shutter without batteries. The 1:1 viewfinder is really the best reason for the R3x imo, but I also don't care about 35mm vs 40mm and prefer the 75mm to a 90mm
