I had the infamous issue where the AF points would lock up when you would try to select a point, and the entire lcd would freeze. you would have to take the battery out and put it back in to get it to work again. That wasn't that big of a deal I could have lived with it if it was the only issue. The deal breaker for me was about two months after owning it I started having a issue where the back buttons lost almost all functionality.
Sent it to sony they had it for about two weeks and sent it it back to me worked fine for about a month then the random freezing started again.. now it was freezing even when I was going through the menus.. Again called sony sent it back. they had it for another two weeks sent it back told me that they couldn't mimic the problem and I would have to document what I was doing when it froze again. whatever. a week later the screen complete y locked up again took out the battery and put it back in like always this time A error code came on the screen and it wouldn't let me use the camera basically it was bricked. at this point I was furious called sony sent it in again and told them to either send me out a new unit or fix it. sent it back to me two weeks later again. this time I sold the fucking thing while it was still functioning.
