I'm having trouble deciding between the lumix g7 and the d3400.

They're pretty different cameras, both about $500 right now but the d3400 package has two lenses (a 70-300mm lens and a 18-55mm). Otherwise, the g7 seems a lot nicer.

I'd like the 300mm for taking pics of birds and other animals, but otherwise the G7 seems like a much better camera in terms of design, video features, swivel screen, etc. I haven't compared them out in person because most stores around here don't carry the g7.

I don't know, guess I'm just thinking aloud. What do you guys think? What gear questions do you have?
