>>32021631. wtf are you doing to your batteries? I have a nex c3 as an emergency backup and granted, it doesn't have an evf and has a crop sensor, but that's lasted whole weekends on one charge.
2. The fuck is wrong with Sony menus? I've not been in them since setting up my camera as Sony put a fuck ton of custom buttons and dials on the a7ii which can be fully customised for each different PASM12 mode, and it also has a completely customisable quick menu giving access to 10 more functions. It's incredibly easy and intuitive to customise.
3. Their lenses are destroying the competition... Without spending serious money (over 1k), nothing comes close to Sony OEM for 28mm, 35mm, 50mm, 50mm macro, 55mm, 85mm. Just look at DXO, it's all Sony and Zeiss and mostly at reasonable prices. Yes, their GM range stings the wallet, it's also completely unsurpassed for image quality. Tokina and Sigma have both announced they will be releasing normal zooms soon.
4. Now I know you're just chatting shit.
They've used the same battery in every body up until the a9, where they've gone for a higher capacity option.
>restricting compatibility of lensesLMFAO bruh, they are the only company with an open mount, anyone can make fully compatible lenses for sony e-mount without paying licensing fees or having to reverse engineer focusing. You're a fucking idiot.
>DSLR offers hurrrrrplease elaborate how a DSLR offers;
>more functionalitywhen it can't even do ai af
>future proofingWhen the mounts have hit their limits
>more compatibility with old lensesWhen more Canon EF mount lenses work correctly on a sony/ef adapter than do on the latest and greatest canon bodies)
>More expandabilitySony has e-mount options from the a3000 all the way up to the a9 for stills, then they have their pro cine cameras that also use e-mount). They are also the only company that offers dedicated versions of their bodies for low light work, high resolution work or super fast af and fps for sport.
