you see there's a sort of hdr going on, and that's all made by hand
look up for both philippe bachelier, who used to develop salgado films, and dominique grainier, who prints his picture
the guys are amazingly good, and I think they're both still teaching at workshop in France
btw salgado would easily go through a roll or two of 35mm when shooting for the same pic
