Someone gave me a broken, fungus filled, lens (DeJUR 85-210mm Macro No. 121310). I tore it apart, it was unfixable. I took the only glass out of it that was in perfect condition, the 62mm dia front lens with its barrel and focus mechanism. I put it on a cheap plastic 12mm extension tube so it would focus properly and attach to the camera. 1 piece of glass, no aperture. It is very bright and I can get exposures 1/320 to 1/800 where my 18-55mm kit lens can barely get 1/100 both at ISO 100.

I went out in the woods and took a few test shots. A few are HDR which should be obvious from the bizarre color effects and having "HDR" in the file name. Maybe when I have time I'll get some more interesting photos with it.
