The universal mount of crop bodies is just an added gimmick. Real woke enthusiasts will know that you wil sacrifice A LOT of sharpness if you use ff lenses on a crop body. Tony Northrup made a video about that. You’re only supposed to use lenses that are dedicated for that format. And with Nikon DX, since their lenses are all 3.5 zooms, and no wide primes, then we can judge that Nikon DX is targetted for casuals who ONLY use 3.5 zooms.
MFT on the other hand, has a lot of primes, and they actually treat the system and the segment seriously. It’s for enthusiasts. It’s a system for everyone, really, from enthusiasts to casuals. I can’t justify my seriousness in photography using the D90 that my dad got for me when i was still bluepilled
