the photographer seems legit but I really wonder how he did it. you can shoot damselflies like this in early morning but dragonflies don't sleep that close to the lake afaik. the only way I can think of is that it's freshly hatched and not able to fly yet. last summer I spent a decent amount of hours at a nearby dragonfly hotspot and didn't get one macro of a dragonfly, only damselflies.
