MF cameras more than 35mm, are very geared to a certain style of shooting. 6x6 supposes that you are going to hold the camera 1 way and crop later while 645 requires you to tilt the camera like you would with a 35mm and yet if you do need to crop you still have a larger neg than 35 even though it may not be by much. 6x7 is more specialized into specifically studio or specifically street, and 6x9 and greater starts jumping into LF territoriality with the exception of the Fuji 6x9.
there is no perfect MF camera, every one is a compromise and needs to be chosen for your style of shooting. Personally I would suggest anyone avoid MF rangefinders unless they have a long history with 35mm rangefinders first
