I have an RZ67 with the 110mm 2.8 but the 4 second and 8 second shutter speeds are often completely off.

When the shutter dial is set to 4 sec and fred the shutter will open and close correctly, but the amount time that the shutter stays open is wildly erratic, sometimes it stays open for 4 secs as it should or it will stay open for 3, or 2, or 3.5.

The 8 sec exposure is also the same, randomly operating correctly, or only being open for anywhere between 1 to 8 secs.

Also if I use a cable release on the lens, and put the camera into mirror lock up, there is a click in the lens after a second or 2 after the mirror locks up, Ive noticed that this coincides with whether the shutter time will be correct. SO is this a problem with the body or lens ?

I've tried researching shutter speed problems with the RZ but all of them have something to do with the shutter being stuck or the shutter dial not moving.

Please offer some input for me /p/hotographers
