Id disagree about the shoulder in the first image though. Short of cropping in in post, not a lot to be done there, and the other option (shoulder not in frame, which I still have as well iirc, but before we'd come upon the "coming soon" sign) leads the eye to the jacket less by way of the left-most girl's ass
Not exactly a concious decision made when shooting it, but I don't consider the inclusion of out of focus random bodies a bad thing if it doesn't distract or deform the subject (in this case, obviously the juxtaposition of the jacket and sign)
I don't consider her friends butt any more or less necessary or valuable context than my friends shoulder.
