I got an old Nikon D70 that my parents gave me. It was laying in the attic for years gathering dust because the lens had gotten broken many years ago, but my mom found her 30 year old 35-70mm Nikon lens that fit well. Already ordered a kinda cheap 70-300mm lens as I plan on getting a better DSLR in the future so no need to spend a fortune on this one.

Either way, I am planning to go to the northern parts of my country to capture some aurora borealis with this camera. I am pretty new to photography, but I know for sure that this camera doesn't have very good low light performance. How would I be able to take nice night photos with this one?
