>>3237008 said. It's fun. When each shot costs money, you think more about your shots. When shooting medium, especially if you have 10 or 8 exposures PER ROLL, you are not going to waste 2 bucks on a snapshit. You quickly learn to wait out mediocre moments for the decisive ones. And you can do that with digital, but I personally cheapen the impact of the shutter button and end up trying a bunch of stupid pictures and get distracted from my goal. But I definitely love digital too, I like the instant gratification and experimentation I get from it. That's definitely useful. In fact I always bring my digital DSLR with me while doing film.
