Grind and grind and grind and the photos will improve, your craft will develop. These are really cool, and give a window into an interesting, not often seen world.
By way of constructive criticism, I would say wait for your subjects to forget about you – when you're photographing them in action, I mean. The direct portraits are very nice. Even with those, I would encourage you to wait a little bit, slow down and see what happens. People put on a face, but that takes energy, and when they stop putting on that face, something interesting happens. That's when you click.
Keep it up, keep sharing, and maybe send these around to photo editors in your country, they might be interested in this sort of insider access / knowledge. As much money as you're making working on the rig, you could be making a lot more shooting for the companies that own these rigs and ships. I believe in you dude! Sky's the limit.
