New to /p/
Got this in the mail today and it won't focus.

Not like the normal "can't focus to infinity" problem I've read about, it'll only focus like a foot away, throwing the focus all the way will change the focus a little bit but still a foot away +/- an inch.
Its an m39 mount I'm using it on a Canon 1300D aps-c sized sensor.

Am I just doomed being a cheapskate? Muh vintage Russian lenses! Is it because Canon's flange focal distance is fucked?

Sorry for coming here and polluting, but I've googled all I can and all I'm finding is the common "can't focus to infinity" problem.
