Can someone enlighten me on why you'd use 24fps for amateur video (i.e. drone footage on your holiday)?
I get that it's the "cinematic" but it looks so choppy and god-awful, even compared to 30FPS. I would much rather see my own footage with more clarity of motion and detail - 24 just looks like it's lagging, especially if you're watching it on a monitor or TV.
Is 24fps just a meme? Like a staple of the elite club of cinematography; in that it makes you part of the cool kids but serves no actual purpose and is inferior to the other standards which are scoffed at like 30fps/60fps?
