It’s actually probably not exactly 75mm in any case—usually lenses are a few millimeters different from their stated focal length and ge manufacturer just rounds to the closest standard number. No one’s gonna notice the difference between 50mm, 51.3mm, and 48mm, so they just call it a 50mm because that’s what people expect.
Leica and (to a lesser extent Pentax) are boutique brands and trades off of being unique and different, so while Nikon and Canon have an incentive to make lenses in the same focal lengths (so they can fight over, say, who has the best 24-70 f/2.8), the smaller brands do better by having lenses with unique focal lengths (“oh, you’re shooting with the Canon 85mm? Yeah, I’m using a Leica 75mm. It’s a more refined focal length with less telephoto distortion. That means that, while my lens is a little shorter, my penis isn’t definitely much longer than yours”)
