>>3247263Nothing close, but Velvia 50 is the thing that old Kodachrome 64 shooters probably shoot these days. They’re not very close but like Kodachrome it has a distinctive and saturated look. Not as limited of a palette though.
Ekta chrome will come back soon but that doesn’t really look similar. It does have an antiquated look, but whereas Kodachrome looks WWII-Korean war era, Ektachrome is more of that post-Vietnam look. Obviously that’s an oversimplification but either way just shoot Velvia 50 if you are looking for colors and not nostalgia.
If you’re looking for nostalgia, shoot digital and use sliders. Or shoot black and white, which sounds repulsive at first but soon it hooks you just as strongly as color.
