Why is spooling the film onto plastic jobo reels so hard this is black and white its supposed to be easy its taking me an hour

Reel might be fucky. I got a Paterson with two reels and one I'll fuck around with for 10 mins only to have it not take an entire roll up while the other takes 3 mins from prying open the film canister to switching the lights back on

Depends on if it is 1500 or 2500 series reels. 2500 series absolutely suck for loading. I have no idea why they even exist. 1500 series are a breeze and were all I used for 35 and 120 films.
