i have very low self esteem. so i need some kind of label or activity that sets me apart from other people. being good at this makes me feel like i'm better than the tall, handsome and well endowed chads that i envy. when i'm here and my insecurity strikes, because idk maybe i read a story where a chad has had girls complimenting his cock, i go out to shoot and imagine how those people would see me as intelligent and creative and better than them.

it makes me go outside. Helps me capture the beauty in the mundane things. Allows me to have something to look forward to after an already satisfying hike. Taking portraits of friends and family is nice too.

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator so it also helps me understand light better. It's also a valuable skill to have in my field in general.
