It's good to have at least one fast film with you.
If you try to carry as few film types as possible, I'd recommend a slow colour negative (like Portra 160) for the day, and a fast, pushable B&W (because low light is usually shit light anyway and B&W is better than shitty tungsten light) for everything else. Delta 400 is really nice in terms of grain and contrast and pushes fine with not excessive grain.
