Hey there, hope it's okay to post as it's not photo but video related.

I'm going to shoot my first Corporate Film next month.
I've been filming and editing for roughly 2 years now but never actually took money until now (I study something very different, it's more of a hobby rn obviosuly)
so my question is: What do you guys think about grain? Like making the digital film seem more like actual film with digital grain for a more cinematic look, is it actually enhacing video material or is it.. tacky? Does it look like accidental noise to clients?

Do you add grain in digital photos to emulate actual film or do you think it's pointless?
