So the army posted a pic of me, but it's blurry as fuck. Could anyone please edit this and remove the blur and fix the focus please? Would be much apperciated

you can't. If it was just slightly hazy you could, this is too much.
All jpg photos are "closed" files and any editing will result in huge quality degradation, so give up.

don't blame the photographer, you can clearly see that OP wasn't the focus of the shot, he was just in the background. It looks like the guy to the left was the focus and OP cropped him out

I just want OP to know that you cant possibly edit focus after a picture has been taken, unless you're using a lytro or something, which was definitely not the case here. And as for the other anons saying that "it's a jpg", what the fuck would you have gained if it was a raw file? come on.

If it was just slightly out of focus (so not so much) you can make it seem in focus, with a web sized image it's nothing impossible ,especially for social network usage like i guess OP intended.

nigger, it's not 'blurry' in the sense that it isn't motion blur, camera shake or whatever. This was shot wide open with a narrow depth of field and focused on the subject who is clearly cropped out on the left.

Rather than question the photographer's choices, maybe you should wonder if you are the focus of the photograph, or important or interesting enough to be the main subject? This isn't a photograph of you, it's a photograph that you happened to be in.

I think this is a cropped image probably, I find it hard to believe the army would post this image since nothing is in focus, he is probably running toward a delicious cake or a mountain of cocaine, or hookers or something.
