When I tried to adapt my photography to /p/ standards, I lost some jobs because it wasn't Brazilian photos standards.

Other PJs don't like to have their name associated with 4chan because 4chan's reputation over the media is shit.

The truth is, this place isn't a shithole as they say, but it can affect your name if you have one, or if your acquaintances knows that you lurk this place.

If you were already selling to news or wire services why did you listen to /p/ - a board primarily of college kids and hobby shooters?

Well I have been part of the art community for along time with promoting "it's not about the camera it's what you shoot" thus landing my spot. They then helped me book clients and also submitting my photo to large magazines.
