Perspective compression is exactly why you wouldn't stick a wide angle 'up their noses' and instead need to compensate by altering your distance to the subject.

Learn some optics.

You fucking retard, I meant the perspective compression of that photo makes the kneeling photo lady seem closer to the altar than she really is. Look at her size relative to the bride and groom. Look how many rows of church pews there are. This is all blatantly obvious to anyone who took a single 70mm equiv.+ photo in their life.

But it's a mismatch of purpose and intent. If you photograph an event, you photograph the people and their actions; not the interior decor.

That's like doing product photography and blurring the product to focus on the face of the person holding it.
