I personally am tempted to purchase a low-megapixel mirrorless MFT camera for these reasons:
1: low megapixel count + 4:3 aspect ratio limits ability to crop photos and encourages the user to use the entire frame, more like a film camera. I find it fun to constrain my creativity and work within limits
2: small size means less weight, less conspicuous, less intimidating
3: fairly low cost and especially mirrorless options that aren't crazy expensive
4: desire to try camera systems from manufacturers other than Canon or Nikon without breaking the bank
