Bart was the most all-around helpful and contributed the most towards making /p/ a good place, (back when fun was allowed). He represented the best of /p/.
P(r) was the most talented at what he did, but what he did looks like ass. He reminds me of listening to Prince: Immense talent with really questionable taste.
Mike was the most genuinely helpful. He invested a ton in the development of several people here. I probably learned the most from him.
Next to Mike, Alex was the most helpful. If you want to learn film or landscape, he's a completely bro.
Bass was actually fun. People took him way too seriously. Same for Burt.
Y'all was overrated as fuck.
Hot take: Natureguy's early landscape work here wasn't all that great. It was just average at best. He could expose a shot properly, but that was about it. I have no idea how he got into /p/'s good graces when he started. That being said, his mantis stuff was fucking stellar.
Alphon was actually good at what he did. People took his rage trolling too seriously.
That quiet british lad who took all the B&W landscapes (I can't remember his trip, but his name is Ed) produced some legit stuff. Too bad he came too far on the tail end of good /p/. His merged shit and orb shit was shit tho.
In the same vein, the german bro whose trip I can't remember (Robin's his name) posted some of my favorite stuff during the post-glory days.
Sloth wasn't as bad as everybody made him out to be. He was just an excitable and emotional guy.
Carlos was actually talented. He was pretentious as fuck, but it was interesting.
My all-time favorite photos were produced by Rubber. He was also a complete dick, but at least he admitted as much on several occassions.
I'd give a participation trophy to Sugar, simply for putting up with everybody's bullshit for so many years.
