That being said, yes, lenses can 100% add a weird color cast to your photos. Especially really old ones from before the days when color film was common, since sometimes the manufacturers cheaped out on those and didn't correct for colors. That's why you'll sometimes see old cameras during the transitional period when color was becoming common specifically calling themselves "color lenses" (e.g., the Voigtlander Color-Skopar).
