Velvia 50 4x5 at this point is 140 euro for a box of 20 sheets. Velvia 100 is 105 euro and Provia is 92.
Pro 160 NS seems dead, there is not a single Fuji color negative film left.
Kodak offers Ektar 100 and Portra in 160 and 400. Prices are sadly almost as bad as the Fuji pricing.
Now this was the happy side of the fence, here comes the real pain. Now 135, Velvia 50: 15.45 euro Velvia 100: 15.25 euro Provia 100: 13.95
I can only assume from these types of prices production is already cancelled. Surely they aren't producing much if the only way to have it even remotely affordable is 4x5 sheet film. Ektar is less than half the price of Fuji slide film.
Surely I can't be that far off the mark to assume Fuji will never introduce a new film emulsion and also most likely will kill off the last few color films they have.
I'm not running a business here, I have interest in having an adult take on which film I buy and shoot. I am not investing time and energy in to shooting films which are likely to be gone from the world soon. If you want to make this a millenial vs adult thing, I don't see how it's a good sign in your mind Fuji does more than just film. I would be extremely happy if Fuji's film part was split off from the rest of the company and could dedicate itself to making film. I want a one trick pony.
I'm also of the mind Ektachrome probably won't be magic but hey, if Kodak tells me they will tool up just to produce it that tells me they are probably going to keep it around. I'd rather have a mediocre film I can rely on being there than having to change it up every few years.
