Kodak - Went through hell and back after declaring bankruptcy. re-releasing stuff that has long been discontinued. works close-ish with their userbase
Ilford - Downsized their factory to save on running costs. Run yearly pre-orders on their more oddball stuff and sizes. and up until a few years ago, there was quite a nice rep on one of the forums i used to visit who gave everyone quite a detailed insight into how the company was doing, what they were planning and generally just engaged their buyers.
Fuji North America - "Where did you hear that? we dont know anything about that"
Fuji Japan - "Fuck you, here bomb, buy instax"
