But what we have here is use of cerebral, inspecific language to defend a point that was never fully thought out before it was expressed.
Which is what led to you saying Todd Hido's
image-by-image composition is anything exceptional, rather than the atmosphere created by multiple compositions (here referring to the singular noun use of the word) over a long-running body of work.
You singled out a specific Hido image as being well composed against isi's, and yet that Hido image can only be called well composed with the knowledge of the atmosphere of an entire set of Hido's work; the knowledge and recognition of which carries with it an inherent acceptance of isi's aesthetic, as an imitation of Hido's if nothing else, unless there happen to be ulterior motives involved.
But we both know ulterior motives are involved, so this is wasted text. You're not seeking personal growth, let alone growth in others; you're seeking to lash out for a temporary fulfillment.
