Buying a 4pack of these for summer/beach. Figure I would rather accidentally break this or get sand on it or leave it in a hot car than my film SLR or digital mirrorless. How do you guys like them?

Should I use my epson v600 to scan the negs like I do with my 120 film or should I get them scanned at the lab when I send it in?

Hard to say. I hate scanning 35mm on a flatbed, as it takes some work to get decent sharp scans. That being said it's a toy camera, so that won't really be a huge concern.

If scanning at the lab is cheap, have them do it. If I shot 3-4 of them I'd have the lab scan them. If it's 1-2 and you have time to kill, DIY.

Minolta Weathermatics go by on eBay all the time, they made one that was 35mm and had zoom.
