Here's the problem with shooting baseball: it's a lot of wasted time and a lot of wasted shots. You can get all the infielders in action between innings when they go around the horn. You get a couple of the pitcher in his delivery. So you've got a dozen keepers and the game is still in the first inning.
But now you sit and wait. And wait. And wait for anything to happen. And you may spray a dozen shots on individual batter swings and misses, so you delete that quickly so you don't have them on the card. Or if someone is on base, you focus on them at first or second and wait for a pickoff.
All the photos will look the same, the only deviation will be reaction photos, like a home run celebration.
I loathe every time i'm assigned a baseball game, but i'm not turning down a paycheck.
