I like how it plays with the light and the subject in the background to suggest a "crime", violence or some sort of serial killer scenario, it is very cinematic, then it turns out its just family business. I could see it as a poster for a movie. Great shot.

The second one I dont like as much to be honest.
Now advice: This should have been a series. What about a close up of the tools? what about a close up of the meat? maybe a photo of the table the meat and the table in a very frontal framing with no human prescence? You can probably still shoot all of this.
