Was taken a year back when I just started photography.
Agree on the underexposition but still love the atmosphere of the picture.

I love Strasbourg and try to get there as often as possible - usually every 2-3 months at least. Always end up buying shitloads of cheese and Orangina.

Is any one actually living in the city? Feeling like I do my thing on my own but didn't really meet any community except from tourists hanging around with big bulky DSLR.

Well there were a lot of students and commuters. Except for the gardens and the cathedral area I didn't feel like being in a very touristy city

I definitely want to come back later this year. Where are you from?
Also, any recommendations what to see? I had only a single day and saw Petite France, The Cathedral, the University Garden and the Jardin de l'Orangerie. Spent a good hour at a restaurant, though. Tarte Flambée with 3 kinds of cheese. Orgasmic.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm from Germany, near the border. Have to drive about an hour to get to Strasbourg.
Seems as if you saw a lot and having a flammkuchen is a must, so that hour certainly wasn't wasted when it comes to experiencing the Alsace region. The boat tour is quite nice and you missed the European parliament. There is also that way along the river that's always worth a walk.

Danke für die Tips, die Bootstour hat mich irgendwie nicht gereizt, die Leute sahen alle ziemlich gelangweilt aus. Da werd' ich lieber zu Fuß am Ufer lang latschen. Das Parlament hab ich aus dem Augenwinkel gesehen als ich zur Orangerie bin, aber auch nur flüchtig.

Nein, wohne in Karlsruhe. Hab die Bootstour der Frau zuliebe gemacht, aber es war wirklich nicht so schlecht wie ich erwartet habe und man sieht viel von der Stadt. Leider war unser Boot überdacht und die meisten Fotos sind aufgrund der Reflexionen unbrauchbar.
