As far as autofocus ones go, it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot to separate most of the ones that aren't in full meme price territory (i.e. contax/mju ii/stylus epic/ricoh/klasse).
Given the lenses are usually virtually identical (decent 35-40mm f2.8) the biggest thing I've seen prioritized in my own searching is that it's a giant pain in the ass if you can't manually disable the flash.
Aside from that shit, just find something you're well assured is actually in working condition and pull the trigger if it's in your price range.
