>>3286050Seriously, first of all you'll learn a ton by just shooting for some time. Don't give a shit about other peoples opinions till you know what you're looking for. We don't know what you want, or where you want to head at. This board will influence you in a bad way, if you start to post your pics just after one day of owning a camera. Look at Photo threads, read into cameras, look into photo books and try to analyze what "looks appealing" and what is superfluous. Pics that have many replies on this board tend to be at least interesting enough for people to reply to. Even if the picture is bad technically, it did his job in raising some interests across fellow autists. You're doomed if your posted picture gets no attention at all, i mean the only reason why i replied to your posted pics is, because it's your first day and you're under some kind of puppie protection.
Photography in general is a broad and interesting hobby, with tons of stuff to learn and experience. It would be contradictory of me to tell you, not to fall for the "memes" like selective color. Everyone is doing shit like this at some point and you're going to look back at it with nostalgic glasses. For me i haven't been photographing for too long (10 Months) but i learn still every day something new. Just a couple of days ago i photographed by first lightning strike, sure it might sound stupid to some people, but for me it was a whole new experience and i'm already looking forward to take more pics like this in the future. Same goes for Makro, Street, Portrait, Landscape, abstract, BW, Shadows, reflections, double or triple exposures, studio work and so on. Being a complete newbie in something can be very exiting, so don't waste your time with retards and autists like us, who complain about their gear all day long instead of getting off their asses to shoot something. Don't post stuff, which you don't even know by yourself what it means to you, so how should we know what it means to you?
