1. Your light source is too large or close to your subjects, it creates a softer look with smoother shadows. To accentuate chaos and anxiety you want harsh shadows and lots of contrast. You can achieve this with a smaller light source or by positioning the light further away. Also youve directed the light in very flattering angle. Try directing it from underneath the subject. Or very close to the lens. Mix it up
2. On the topic of mixing it up all your shots are with wide angles straight on. Take some frames from unsettling angles next to the subject or beneath them. Get closer, get further, really mix it up. Take as many as you can. Be as frenetic in shooting as is the mood youre trying to capture.
3. On the topic of wide-angle. One benefit of being close to your subject is that depth is exaggerated. Use this to your advantage. Take more shots with the subject's body aligned perpendicular to the image plane (rather than parallel)
4. Youve ostensibly left out the eyes of your subjects. Which Im not saying is a bad stylistic choice, but just for creativity's sake take an extreme close up of the subjects eyes. Then present the photos side by side. This will accentuate the unsettling separation between the body and the eyes.
