I have been using Capture One Pro for three months now and I only opened Lightroom twice to stitch some photos. I now process all my raws through C1 and do the retouching in Photoshop

Pros:
- straight to the point no bullshit UX
- optimal tethered shooting experience
- superior color grading
- very intuituve and customizable UI
- One time full licence purchase

Cons:
- not a lot of camera/lenses profiles
- not so good correction tools
- not as many presets as LR (but who cares, you get to do the color grading yourself)
- no blending modes for the layers
