- A custom rig for a digital camera with a macro lens that allows taking partial shots of the MF negative and then digitally stitiching them (can be cheaper but there's significantly more handiwork)
- A used drum scanner if you can find one (prices are all over the place, but in the thousands range)
That is all in addition to a quality medium format camera/lenses - which tend to be more expensive than quality 35mm gear - and significantly higher costs of film itself.
The main issue here is that in the end, you still aren't gonna get higher technical quality than from a digital camera you can buy for the same kind of money. There are some other advantages like fast MF lenses generally having more pleasing bokeh than fast 35mm lenses, but whether that is worth the shitload of hassle is up to you.
