Negatives aren't perfectly flat? Have fun with that distortion. You wanna scan colour negs? Have fucking fun editing that shit so the white balance is correct. Oh and make sure there's no reflection from other light sauces, may as well DSLR scan in the dark. Also forgot that absolute no matter what lens you use you WILL have distortion from the lens. Did I mention having to set up a scan rig with a tripod EVERY SINGLE TIME just to scan? Seriously DSLR scanning to too much hassle for everyday use.
>get one. A D3300 or something with a macro lens and a tripod is still going to be better than any scanner you could get for the same money.Or with that money you can get a Plustek for 35mm and still have enough money for a decent flatbed (if you shoot MF that is)
