I had to be a long ways away and I actually dug into a hill to get that low and far enough away to get the shot. For me, there's something "off" about it that doesn't quite fit. I liked the concept, but it didn't pan out as well as I'd hoped. I almost didn't include it, but ended up including it because it was so compositionally different and I didn't want to rehash too much. Had I been able to take the shot in later evening light, it'd probably have been better, but by that time it was gone.
>>3304894If you want to be an artist, you have to have a large trashcan. I found that I was getting better from start to finish. By the end of my self-imposed time limit (March 20th to May 31st; 72 days) I was not liking some of the older ones, because the newer ones were so much better. I've had the camera about 10 months, but I've only had this DIY toolset for just over 2 months.
