So I have been collecting figurines and want to start learning/doing basic photography with them. will mainly be using my Samsung s9 if it matters

now I know lightings is usually the most important part of photography. how should I point a lamp/lights at my diorama scenes?

what sort of lights/lamps should I be getting? I work for a thrift store so I should be able to get my hands on lighting stuff for cheap.
