>>3319788Apart from Sigma & the Chinese, you missed Zeiss, Voightlander, Tamron, Tokina, Meyer-Goerlitz and some more. There are just more E-mount lenses. including worthwhile ones.
And just to back the primes claim up a little, here's a bunch of Fuji bestsellers [at B&H] vs what you might get on the E-mount:
- Sigma Contemporary 30mm f/1.4 $339 > Fujifilm XF 35mm f/2 $399 / Fujifilm 35mm f/1.4 $599
- Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary $449 > Fujifilm XF 16mm f/1.4 $999
- Sony FE 90mm f/2.8 Macro $1098 [might also use the Sony FE 50mm f/2 $499] > Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 Macro $1200
- Samyang AF 35mm f/2.8 $267 > Fujifilm XF 27mm f/2.8 $449
Could do that for more primes. Though not absolutely all of them will also be cheaper like the ones I just mentioned, Sony almost always has a prime with better IQ.
Zoom lenses are a mixed bag tho, between a slightly cheaper & sharper 10-18mm f/4 and a more versatile slightly pricier 10-24mm f/4, what's the better deal? What's the Fuji pendant to a Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8? Do we compare the Fuji 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 $699 to the Sony E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 $348 or is it the better Tamron 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 $549?
Anyhow, the E-mount has more good lenses and as it stands, unless Fuji picks up the same 3rd parties, the difference will just rapidly get larger.
